Brothers Ryan and Nick Deckert signed scholarships (January 31, 2010) to play baseball at Tallahassee Community College in Tallahassee, Florida for the 2012 season. The Tallahassee Community College Eagles play in the Panhandle Conference, under head coach Mike McLeod.

Both Deckert boys have been starting pitchers for the Leon High School baseball program since 2008.  In 2009, Ryan and Nick were a part of the starting pitching rotation for the Babe Ruth National Championship team from Tallahassee.  During the summer of 2010, Ryan and Nick were starting pitchers for the World of Baseball Showcase Team, Jacksonville, FL and participated in several Perfect Game, Prospect Wire and Under Armor National events, both maintaining ERA’s under 2.0.

Ryan and Nick are honor students at Leon High School, maintaining 3.5 GPA’s.  They are the sons of Tom and Maria Deckert of Tallahassee, Florida.

Ryan and Nick are proud to become a part of the winning Eagle Academic and Baseball tradition.
