Jordan Priddle signed an athletic scholarship (November 10, 2010) to play baseball at Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, for spring of 2012.
Jordan began playing varsity baseball for Leon High in 2008. His record is 17 wins to 6 losses as a starting pitcher and an ERA under 3.0. He has had over 130 strikeouts in his High School career. Jordan's team members selected him as "Rookie of the Year" his freshman year and "Pitcher of the Year" for two seasons. Area coaches for All-Big Bend selected Jordan for Second Team in his freshman and sophomore years and All-Big Bend First Team for 2010.
Jordan was a starting pitcher for the 2009 summer and 2009 fall seasons with the Orlando Scorpions and participated in seven Perfect Game tournaments with the team. This year Jordan pitched in the Perfect Game National Showcase at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Florida. Professional scouts selected him to pitch in the Florida Diamond Club Showcase in Lakeland, Florida in October.
Jordan, an Honor Student at Leon High School, has a GPA of 3.9 and plans to major in Chemistry at FSU. He is the son of Jeff and Rebecca Priddle of Tallahassee, Florida. His grandfather Herb Priddle accompanies him, as well as his brother Jason Priddle, a Leon High and FSU Graduate.
